Privacy Policy
Savelope is built by Mihails Kuznecovs. This policy explains what the app does with your information in plain language. The short version: your challenges and savings data are yours, they live on your device and in your own iCloud account, and the developer cannot read them.
What stays on your device
Everything you create in Savelope — your challenges, envelope amounts, the envelopes you have opened, your notes, themes and settings — is stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud, this data syncs through Apple CloudKit into your own private iCloud container. It is governed by Apple's privacy policy, and the developer has no access to its contents.
If you share a challenge with another person, the challenge data you choose to share is shared through CloudKit with the people you invite, and only with them.
What the app measures
Savelope collects anonymous usage and diagnostic information to understand which features people use and to find crashes. This includes things like which screens are opened, which actions are taken, app version, device model and operating system version. It is not used to identify you and is not sold.
Third-party services
Savelope uses the following services, each with its own privacy policy:
- Google Firebase — analytics and crash diagnostics. Privacy policy

- RevenueCat — manages subscriptions and purchase status. Privacy policy
- Apple CloudKit & the App Store — sync, sharing and payments. Privacy policy
- Unsplash — only if you choose a photo background for a custom theme; your search terms are sent to Unsplash to return results. Privacy policy
Payments
Savelope is free to download with an optional Premium subscription. All purchases are processed by Apple. The developer never sees or stores your payment card, billing address or Apple Account credentials — only whether a subscription is currently active.
Notifications
If you turn on daily reminders, those notifications are scheduled locally on your device. You can turn them off at any time in the app or in iOS Settings.
Children's privacy
Savelope is rated 4+ and is not directed at children under 13, and the developer does not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please get in touch and it will be deleted.
Your choices
- Deleting the app removes the data stored on your device.
- Data synced to iCloud can be removed in iOS Settings under your Apple Account → iCloud → Manage Account Storage.
- You can limit ad and analytics identifiers in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the app changes. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
